How to pick your team
Pick your 15
2 goalkeepers, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders and 3 forwards — with a maximum of 2 players from any one club. Use the search, position tabs and club filter, or let Auto Pick build a squad in seconds.
Set your XI & captain
Choose a formation — 4-4-2, 4-3-3, 3-5-2 and five more — put 11 on the pitch and 4 on the bench. Tap any player to make them captain (scores double) or vice-captain, who inherits the armband if the captain doesn't play.
Enter before the deadline
The squad locks 90 minutes before the first kick-off of each gameweek — the gold countdown at the top is live. Your team then rolls over week to week and keeps scoring; change it any time before each deadline.

Clean sheets are judged on the minutes a player is actually on the pitch — get substituted before a late goal and your clean sheet stands. If a starter ends up with zero minutes, your bench steps in automatically, in the order you set.

How is this different from FPL?
No budgets, no prices, no transfer market. Nothing to manage all season except the only thing that matters — who you back this week. And because every gameweek is a fresh pick, a player who joins in October starts level with everyone on that week's podium.
Does my team carry over between gameweeks?
Yes — your squad rolls over and keeps scoring. Change any of your 15, the formation or the armband whenever you like before each deadline.
What if my captain doesn't play?
Your vice-captain scores double instead. If a starter gets zero minutes, the bench replaces them automatically — goalkeeper for goalkeeper, outfielders in your bench order.
When do my points appear?
After the final whistle of each match, from official match data — goals, assists, clean sheets, cards and ratings. Your gameweek total and leaderboard place update as the gameweek's matches finish.
What does it cost to play?
Nothing — entry is open to every registered Pundit Kings member. Register once and your squad, points and leaderboard place are saved to your account.
